The chief engineer informed that the flyover is 600-meter-long and 75 Kanal land will be acquired for the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While talking to the media personnel the director general said that the project will take 10 months to complete with an estimated cost of PKR 4.25 billion. A network of roads spanning 10 kilometres will also be part of the flyover. The project includes the building of two bridges on the Ruhi Nullah as well as the dualisation of the Defence Road. This will help solve the longstanding traffic problem of the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/contract-for-shahkam-chowk-flyover-awarded-to-nlc.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"75581\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Contract for Shahkam Chowk Flyover awarded to NLC<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sheranwala Flyover<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 1-kilometre-long Sheranwala flyover is the longest in the city and is expected to cost PKR 4.9 billion; of which PKR 2 billion is reserved for 22 Kanal land acquisition, while the remaining will be spent on the civil works. The 400-meter elevation bearing flyover is expected to handle over 121,000 vehicles daily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gulab Devi Underpass<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Similarly, PKR 2 billion Gulab Devi Hospital underpass will resolve traffic choking issues on one of the busiest roads of the city. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/tag\/tender-awarded-for-gulab-devi-underpass-construction-in-lahore\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"45814\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">project <\/a>consultancy services are expected to cost PKR 600 million while the civil works will cost around PKR 1.4 billion.
