The project is expected to benefit 6 million people in the most vulnerable 200 villages of the province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/world-bank-increase-social-sector-financing-pakistan.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">World Bank to increase social-sector financing for Pakistan<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Punjab Rural Sustainable Water Supply and Sanitation Project (PRSWSSP) will assist expand access to water supply and sanitation by rehabilitating existing projects and constructing new ones. The overall advantage will be a reduction in waterborne diseases and stunted child growth caused by inadequate access to clean water.
