In 2020, a second notification was issued, which was contested in court. The LHC Rawalpindi Bench issued a stay order in April 2021, preventing the Punjab Irrigation Department from continuing work on the Dadhocha Dam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rabnawaz and other landowners filed a petition alleging that the administration was not providing a fair market price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A three-member Supreme Court bench led by Justice Umar Ata Bandial heard the land acquisition case of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/daducha-dam-worth-pkr-7-bn-fast-reaching-completion.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dadhocha Dam<\/a>.
