Officials from Zameen Developments reported that the piling works have been completed. Meanwhile, excavation for the capping beam is underway, they added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During piling, holes are bored along the periphery of the site down to the depth specified by the geotechnical designers. The piles are used for securing the site for sub-structural execution. They allow for safe excavation for basements and subsequent execution of foundation and sub-structural works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the other hand, the capping beam is also a Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) structure that ties all the piles together and enhances the stiffness of the shoring system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
