Commissioner of Karachi&nbsp;Naveed Shaikh, informed the meeting about the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/sc-demolition-encroachments-nullahs.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">anti-encroachment drive<\/a>. So far, 5,134 units have been retrieved from various Nullahs. The following are the details of the units that were removed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>238 units from Mehmoodabad Nullah<\/li><li>3,290 units from Gujjar Nullah<\/li><li>1,606 units from Orangi Nullah \u2013 189 from Keamari, 416 from Central, and 1,001 from West districts.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>During the meeting, it was also informed that 47 houses and 1,169 shops have been built on 7,000 Road Nullah in New Karachi. According to Deputy Commissioner Central, a notice has been issued to inform the occupants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aside from that, the meeting also addressed issues regarding the revival of the Karachi Circular Railway (KCR).
