In addition, the minister has directed Pakistan Railway authorities to complete the fencing along the KCR corridor. He continued by stating that the city needed a modern KCR. CM Murad Ali Shah indicated that the government is willing to assist railway officials in enhancing KCR operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting was informed that the 14km track from the City Station to the Orangi Station was already completed by February 10, 2021, and that two trains were<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/kcr-starts-route-from-city-railway-station-to-orangi.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> operational<\/a>. Moreover, the Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) is ready to begin construction on three buildings, including the KCR and an elevated 6.4 km structure, at a cost of PKR 11.508 billion.
