Karachi: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday (August 10) was briefed on the restoration of three major nullahs in Karachi and an anti-encroachment drive along the storm drains, news sources reported.\u00a0 Read: SC backs demolition of encroachments on Karachi Nullahs Lieutenant-General Akhtar, Chairman of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), informed the Prime Minister that nullahs in Mahmoodabad, Gujjar, and Orangi districts, Malir and those on Lyari rivers, would be rebuilt. The plan also includes the construction of roads astride these drains, installation of a sewerage system, and relocation of infrastructure for the provision of utilities.
