Islamabad: The National Logistic Cell (NLC)<\/a> has mobilised equipment to construct the 10-kilometer-long Islamabad\/Inter Junction Principal (I.J.P) Road from Faizabad to Peshawar Morr, news sources reported. The PKR 4.9 billion project would take 18 months to complete and will involve building of four lanes on each side of the road, as well as two flyovers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One flyover will be built at the intersection of 9th Avenue, and the other at the intersection of Faqir Appi Road near Sector I-11. According to the Capital Development Authority (CDA), the contractor of the I.J.P Road will select the best alternative to begin work and the diversion plan will be set accordingly. The IJP route connects the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi and is utilised by both light and heavy trucks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
