The site is part of Margalla Hills National Park (MHNP) but lacks patrolling mechanism. As per the details shared, IWMB will also make necessary preparations for carrying out patrolling to prevent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/shah-allah-ditta-caves-cleared-of-encroachments.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">illegal occupation<\/a> of land in this area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Previously, the 44-km long Margalla Ridge trail, which extends to Summa Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from Shah Allah Ditta, was inaugurated in November 2018.
