However, the government has formed a committee to deliberate the issue and analyse the options available.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/list-of-allottees-of-lda-city-apartments-issued-to-banks.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">List of successful applicants of LDA City Apartments issued to banks<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The LDA officials presented the issue to Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and said that the total cost of the apartments is increased to PKR 2.95 million due to<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/abad-govt-stabilise-cement-steel-material.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"79271\"> rising building material costs<\/a>. Previously, the apartments were provided to needy and low-income people at a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/naphda-lda-apartments-deadline-tomorrow.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"77324\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">subsidised rate of PKR 2.2 million.<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CM Buzdar&#8217;s committee will give its findings in three days. The established committee will debate on three possibilities, including the government bearing the increased financial burden and approving the updated PC-1 of the project, or the government subsidising LDA&#8217;s building of 4,000 units.
