Reportedly, the Ammar Chowk project has been pending for the last 12 years. It was revealed that the Punjab government has resumed the project with the help of RDA and Station Headquarters Rawalpindi and presently, the development work is in full swing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Keeping with the city\u2019s growing population and traffic congestion, the original design of the project has been modified to include twin additional underpasses, undergrounding of HT and LT cables and the addition of a new service line and reinforced earth panel.
