The three-day Housing & Construction Expo 2021 organised by the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) ended on Sunday (September 05), news sources reported. Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Friday (September 3) kick-started the expo to promote the construction industry in the country<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the inauguration ceremony, the premier said that the property and real estate sector has been the largest job-creating sector with millions of people directly and indirectly associated with it.\u00a0 He said that the government is facilitating the real estate developers by removing impediments in the way of providing low-cost houses for 220 million people. In this regard, the housing mortgage policy has been implemented in the country to overcome the housing shortfall. PM Khan urged the real estate developers to depend less on imports and utilise locally available resources in the country.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
