Some of the project highlighted projects include the establishment of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/one-window-centre-launched-by-rda.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"73846\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">one-window operation centre<\/a> to better facilitate the people. Since its inception, the one-window cell has approved floor plans of 972 residential buildings and 132 commercial projects. \u00a0 Another significant milestone is the development of 50 multi-storey highrises in the city under the RDA building and Zoning Regulation 2020. The construction work on these highrises \u2013 which include 5,000 apartments for low-income citizens \u2013 is presently underway.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/rda-anti-encroachment-illegal-constructions.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RDA to continue anti-encroachment drive against illegal constructions<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The authority also recapped the projects that have been completed during the last three years, a list of which is as follows:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Construction of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/rda-completed-dualisation-of-dr-qadeer-khan-road.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"75890\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Qadeer Khan Road\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0<\/li><li>Tepu-Road to Airport Link Road construction\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><li>Construction of 3 pedestrian bridges\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><li>Restructuring of Ammar Chowk\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><li>Redesigning of Kacheri Chowk (ongoing)\u00a0<\/li><li>Construction of Defense Chowk (ongoing)\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, the advertising mentioned RDA&#8217;s efforts to promote business and develop business-friendly regulations. This includes lowering the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/rda-permits-resi-to-plaza-conversions.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"73831\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">regularisation cost for commercial buildings from 20% to 10%<\/a>, commercial declaration of 21 roads and fast track 45-day commercial land usage policy.
