Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar on Monday (September 13) announced that the number of revenue centres will be increased to 8,000 during the current fiscal year (FY 2021-22), according to news sources. The chief minister disclosed that a digital girdawari system<\/a> had been launched to correctly assess the production of agricultural crops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CM Buzdar, while talking to the media, stated that all e-Khidmat centres and sub registrars offices offer mutation of property services and one-window registration facility across the province. It was also mentioned that Revenue Khidmat Kutcheries were working towards resolving people\u2019s concerns and grievances to provide them relief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, district gazetteers were published to gather concise and updated information on all the districts. To facilitate people from rural areas, mobile centres were launched to provide revenue services. The chief minister mentioned that the revenue court case management system was resolving problems justly and quickly. He went on to say that people will greatly benefit from 100% digitisation of revenue records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides this, the CM Buzdar disclosed that the 180,000 acres of land worth PKR 462 billion had been retrieved from illegal occupation \u2013 176,000 acres in rural areas while 4,056 acres in urban areas.
