The planned structures under the project, will aid in the elimination of 22 level crossings along the KCR loop from Drigh Road to Karachi City Station, as well as making it a more dependable means of public transportation.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/kcr-project-6bn-fund.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sindh to invest PKR 6 bn to operationalise KCR project: CM Murad<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Chairman Planning Commission Mohammad Jehanzeb Khan, in the P-Block Secretariat and was attended by the members of the ECNE, CDWP and the provincial ministers and representatives. \u00a0 The KCR project was launched in response to the Supreme Court of Pakistan&#8217;s April decision, which instructed the government to restart the project within nine months in order to improve transportation in the province capital.
