Chairman Senator Muhammad Qasim, who presided over the meeting, was briefed on the progress of KCR and anti-encroachment operation on the railway land.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the meeting, some senate committee members recommended connecting KCR to the airport to facilitate foreign and domestic travellers. Besides this, Pakistan Railways officials also discussed the issue of encroachments on railway land in Sindh. So far, only <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/green-line-brt-operational-next-month.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Green Line<\/a> is ready to start its services. It was mentioned that once the railway is restored, it will facilitate 475,000 passengers on daily a basis.
