Rawalpindi: Chairman Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Tariq Mehmood on Thursday (October 21) said that the authority is planning to revive its kitchen gardening campaign<\/a> and is working on finalising a plan in collaboration with Akhuwat Foundation, according to news sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the new project, interest-free micro loans will be offered to the citizens interested in the initiative and the authority will provide free seeds. Talking on the occasion he said that such small-scale, social-sector enterprises might offer people jobs and improved lives, in addition to organic veggies, which would enhance their health and lower their expenditures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
