The purpose of this road is to recycle plastic waste.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/cda-board-bids-22-commercial-plots.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CDA board accepts bids submitted for 22 commercial plots<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As per the details shared, the municipal waste daily amounting to 500 to 600 tonnes I daily collected in Islamabad, out of which 150 to 180 tonnes is plastic waste. To decrease <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/ataturk-avenue-to-be-recarpeted-with-plastic-waste.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">environmental pollution<\/a>, the collected waste must be recycled. On the directives of CDA Chairman Amer Ali Ahmed, a trial road project was started at F-9 Park to recycle plastic.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The plastic road is the first project of its kind in Pakistan that is being constructed in collaboration with a private beverage company.
