Reportedly, the ADB and the National Engineering Services Pakistan (NESPAK) representatives will execute a two-month survey for the sewage treatment plant project and upon approval, the groundbreaking for the project will be held in March 2022.<br><br>Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Chairman Tariq <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/rawalpindi-master-plans-tor-approved.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Murtaza<\/a> termed it a mega project, which will be linked to drains of Rawalpindi through the sewage tunnel, to be siphoned to the treatment plant. The water treatment plant is said to be developed on 5,500 kanals currently owned by the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) in Gorakhpur.
