Islamabad: Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Amir Ali Ahmed on Monday (December 13) met directed authorities to complete the Rawal Dam Interchange and 7th Avenue project by October next year, news sources reported. He also directed that all four slip roads on the Rawal Dam Interchange construction<\/a> site be opened by the end of this month to alleviate traffic congestion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to a press release issued by the authorities, the chairman has directed the authorities to carpet all slip roads, as well as place reflectors and diversion signs to guide and relieve traffic jams. In addition, Chairman Ahmed has directed that work on PKR 1.1 billion projects be expedited and completed by June 2022, months ahead of the October 2022 target. The civic body head stated that the flyover at the construction site will be completed and ready for traffic by January 2022.
