To this effect, LDA Chief Engineer (II) Mazhar Hussain Khan has forwarded the proposal detailing the funds\u2019 requirement to the provincial housing department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/monitoring-materials-quality-lda-projects.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Monitoring of construction materials\u2019 quality in works for LDA projects<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to sources, the LDA has requested funding for the Sheranwala Gate Flyover, the Samanabad Mor Underpass, the rehabilitation of Babu Sabu side roads, the Gulab Devi Underpass, the Shahkam Flyover Project, and the recently approved project in Saggian. For the completion of the above-mentioned projects, the authority has asked the following funds from the government:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A total of PKR 223.7 million has been requested for the rehabilitation of roads near the Babu Sabu Interchange.\u00a0<\/li><li>The authority has requested PKR 736.5 million for the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/gulab-devi-underpass-open-december-20.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"81584\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Gulab Devi Underpass <\/a>project completion. Out of the allocated funds of PKR 1.71 billion, only PKR 500 million have been issued so far.\u00a0<\/li><li>PKR 1.23 billion has been asked for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/nlc-expand-defence-road-lahore.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"79646\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Shahkam Flyover project<\/a> from the total allocated funds of PKR 4.23 billion.
