The main runway of the airport is 12,000 feet long while the secondary one is 8,500-feet long. PM Khan, while speaking at the event, stated that both international and national tourists will visit the region due to enhanced connectivity. He went on to say that direct flights help boost tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0Moreover, the development of the road and airport will bring employment opportunities for the locals. The minister also mentioned that Gilgit-Baltistan has the world\u2019s beautiful mountains.
