A total of 4,708 kanal and 8 marla land will be acquired for the purpose.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/leh-expressway-linked-10th-avenue.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RDA to connect Leh Expressway with I.J.P. Road, 10th Avenue<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to sources, the land would be acquired throughout 16 Mouzas along the project&#8217;s 16.5-kilometre-long route. In this regard, the government has set aside <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/demarcation-land-leh-expressway.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"81826\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PKR 24 billion for land purchase<\/a>. After the imposition of Section 4, the owners of the land will be issued no-objection certificates (NOCs) by the department, as well as a market competitive compensation. The project has been put on hold for the last 15 years, resulting in a cost increase.
