He added that after the restoration of the local government (on orders of the Supreme Court), it was decided to check the status of all commercial buildings to determine whether the buildings were developed before the approvals or not. It was reported that most of the buildings were constructed without approved building plans.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover, the mayor stated that the RMC will report him on how many illegal constructions were legalised after imposing fines. He further added that all the encroachments from bazaars and roads will be removed to clear roadsides and footpaths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A senior RMC official (whose name was not disclosed) mentioned that the Band Khana Road was constructed 40 years ago as an alternate route to Kuri and Sadiqabad roads.
