The digitisation of the record of all the land has been completed since 1947 with the aim to curb tampering with the land records.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/plra-launches-digital-payment-mutation-fard.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PLRA launches digital payment system for land mutation, fard<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As per the reports, PLRA had established nine branches working under the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/plra-launch-145-new-satellite-land-record-centres.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"71961\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">land revenue wing<\/a> and deputy commissioner office to digitise land records. The project was initiated in 2017-18 with the major work already completed. However, due to increasing complaints regarding tempering of land data, Deputy commissioner Lahore Umar Sher Chatha wrote to the Senior Member Board of Revenue Baber Hayat Tarrar regarding the completion of the last leg of the project.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> <strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/plra-doubles-mobile-record-centres-to-facilitate-citizens.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PLRA doubles mobile record centres to facilitate citizens<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover, it was also reported that following the completion of the project, all land-related documents including mutation and transfer certificates will be issued digitally while the manual work will be terminated in the coming months.
