The Girdawari project was launched to assess the real position of rural land, crops and structures in villages and to avoid land grabbing cases.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/revenue-centres-digital-girdawari-system.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Punjab to have 8,000 revenue centres, launches digital girdawari system<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reportedly, a mobile application has already been developed and launched as part of the initiative to provide remote access as well as identify the location and boundary of land. It was said that the initiative will aid in<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/pra-revenue-target-q1.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"80403\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> tax collection and the resolution <\/a>of mutation and inheritance issues. The proposal would significantly reduce manual land record tempering and other malpractices.
