The proposed project will double the company\u2019s installed refining capacity to 100,000 barrels per day in five years.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/chinese-usd-15-billion-refinery-pakistan.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">China to build USD 15 bn refinery complex in Pakistan<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to reports, MD Zahid stated that the company is seeking to achieve three goals from the project, which include boosting production capacity of Euro V\u2013compliant diesel and gasoline, increasing overall installed capacity and lowering furnace oil output.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/pakistan-and-saudi-arabia-talks-on-usd-8-bn-gwadar-refinery-in-final-stages.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"42827\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> For the expansion project<\/a>, the corporation intends to conduct a front-end engineering design (FEED) study at a cost of USD 50 million.
