The area will be utilised by the Special Technology Zone Authority (STZA) and will only be available for the use of information technology (IT) enterprises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/senate-pass-bill-establish-special-it-zone.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Senate body pass bill to establish \u2018Special IT economic Zone\u2019<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As per the news, the land has been allotted in the Chak Shahzad area of the capital city. Talking on the occasion STZA Chief Operating Officer (COO) Mr Masroor Ahmed Qureshi said that the prime minister has tasked STZA with the establishment of technology zones in all <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/pm-regulatory-body-bylaws.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"78917\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">provinces in the country and special by-laws<\/a> to this effect will be created in collaboration with provincial governments and the Capital Development Authority (CDA). \u00a0 Similarly, STZA will manage and regulate these technology zones where multinational and national enterprises can set up offices.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> <strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/pm-stza-tech-zones-major-cities.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PM orders STZA to set up tech zones in all major cities<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, Qureshi stated that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/stza-applications-zone-enterp-isb-technopolis.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"78245\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">STZA has received 39 applications<\/a> from various sectors so far, with a decision still in waiting. He further stated that the premier has authorised the transformation of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/ravi-city-knowledge-park.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"77968\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lahore&#8217;s Knowledge Park<\/a> into a Special Technology Zone.
