The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/fbr-72-mn-citizens-nadra-tax-base.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"82578\" target=\"_blank\">National Database and Registration Authority (NDRA)<\/a> will collaborate to develop the planned digital tax portal.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/fbr-powers-against-avoiding-pos.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">FBR requests powers against businesses avoiding POS integration<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to reports, the portal would contain information on the person&#8217;s tax record, assets, and the tax owed on each item. This real-time data will also reduce the undue harassment of taxpayers. The minister revealed this information before members of parliament in the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/fbr-valuation-rates-immovable-properties.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"82088\" target=\"_blank\">Senate Standing Committee on Finance<\/a>, Revenue, and Economic Affairs while giving a briefing on the Finance (Supplement) Bill, 2021. He said that the project&#8217;s goal is to streamline tax collection and revenue generation.
