The project will be developed under the Annual Development Programme (ADP) at the five major parks in the city.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/wasa-to-construct-two-more-rainwater-harvesting-tanks.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">WASA to construct two more rainwater harvesting tanks in Lahore<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reportedly, the five sites selected for the project include Allama Iqbal Park, Rawal Park, Pothohar Park, Liaquat Bagh and Commercial Market Children&#8217;s Park. It was informed that P<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/plantation-barren-land-rawalpindi.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"76859\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">HA has already prepared Project Concept -1 (PC-1)<\/a> and the work is expected to start from March and will take three months to complete. According to a PHA spokesperson, the project&#8217;s goal is to save rainwater for the city&#8217;s future plantation and horticulture activities, which would alleviate the load on subterranean aquifers.
