The government has released PKR 250 million for the project initially.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/punjab-tourism-department-affordable-tourist-pods.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Punjab Tourism Department to install affordable Tourist pods<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reportedly, to<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/punjab-to-preserve-agri-land.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"83170\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> improve the infrastructure and prevent tree cutting<\/a>, the project will be completed in two phases. During the current fiscal year, a 20-kilometre-long wall will be built in the first phase. In the next phase, the 18-kilometre-long wall will be completed. According to District Forest Officer Rana Shahid Tabassum, the wall will be 8 feet high with barbed wires to defend against incursion and illicit wood trading.
