The project is now entering the final phases of construction with several portions completed.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/site-proposed-cricket-stadium-islamabad.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Site proposed for setting up cricket stadium in Islamabad<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a CDA official, contractors have completed work on the PWD junction, and work on the 16-kilometre section of Koral to Rawat has been prioritised. Similarly, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/fwo-expansion-islamabad-expressway.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"83164\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Frontier Works Organisation (FWO)<\/a> will complete the two-kilometre part of the road from Korang to Span bridge in the next few weeks, with a total expenditure of PKR 2.23 billion. The CDA spokeswoman told the reporters that the FWO will build service roads near the PWD intersection. Including four lanes on both sides, with two rigid lanes for heavy traffic and two flexible lanes for light vehicles. Similarly, the work on the last leg of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/rawal-7th-avenue-completed-oct-22.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"82246\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Soan Bridge project<\/a> will start from June this year after the budget.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> <strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/isl-expressway-pwd-underpass-to-be-completed.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Islamabad Expressway, PWD Underpass to be completed by June<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project will be completed by the government under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP), while the DHA interchange will be completed by DHA authorities.
