The establishment of housing societies on agricultural land will be prohibited until the master plans are completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/lda-to-offer-free-height-regulations-to-encourage-high-rises.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LDA to offer \u2018free height\u2019 permission to property developers<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reportedly, during a briefing given to the National Assembly committee, Aslam said that in the event of a legitimate necessity, approval from federal or provincial cabinets will be required to convert green land to brown land for residential purposes. The Punjab government has already issued a notification in this respect. Similarly, under the green stimulus project, electric buses will be operated from Islamabad Zoo to Monal.&nbsp; Additionally, all brick kilns will be converted into zig-zag technology to reduce smog in big cities. The initiative will promote the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/lda-approves-construction-plans-apartment.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"83135\" target=\"_blank\">vertical expansion of the city<\/a> while reducing unplanned housing societies. The decision was made following an assessment of the city&#8217;s commercialization efforts and monitoring. It was said that a strategy to prevent the unauthorised commercialization of important roadways is required.
