Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has directed the Ministry of Tourism to develop alternate tourist destinations in the country to reduce the burden on the existing spots, according to a news story published on Friday (January 28). Read: Upgraded Intl\u2019 Skardu Airport inaugurated to boost tourism PM Khan, speaking in a meeting with Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Tourism Coordination Azam Jamil, stressed the need to boost the tourism industry by developing housing facilities and road infrastructure. Moreover, the PM ordered the SAPM to start work on the rehabilitation of the Governor House in Nathia Gali so it could be transformed into a tourist destination. He further instructed the SAPM that the private sector should be consulted for this project.
