JCC, a 7.5-acre amenity centre, is being converted into a commercial enterprise.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/jinnah-convention-centre-land-sold-to-interior-ministry.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jinnah Convention Centre land sold to interior ministry<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to reports, IHC quashed the application seeking a halt to the project&#8217;s auction in its decision. The court ruled that because there is no proof that the project was unlawfully converted into a commercial centre, the privatisation commission is authorised to proceed with the project auction. The JCC will be sold to private bidders for the construction of the exhibition centre, according to the privatisation committee. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/pm-briefed-on-plans-to-sell-jinnah-convention-centre.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"50967\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The project&#8217;s revenues will be utilised to finance the government&#8217;s development programmes<\/a>. The JCC is located at one end of Constitution Avenue and is used for exhibitions and conferences by corporate and government organisations.
