The envoy also told the minister about the JICA’s (Japan International Cooperation Agency) Haripur City Gravity Flow Water Supply Scheme. According to the ambassador, the project would enhance the city’s water security. This year marks the 70th anniversary of Pakistan and Japan’s established diplomatic relations and friendship. According to the ambassador, Japan is Pakistan’s second-largest donor, with JPY 1.35 trillion in development loans and grants since 1954.
