A committee was formed by the government, which will be headed by LDA Vice Chairman (VC) Naeem-ul-Haq in order to deal with matters regarding generating maximum revenue, determine the quantum and imposition of betterment fee, and resizing of plots according to market demand.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reportedly, FTC was the only area in the city that was allowed to have unlimited height high-rise buildings to boost commercial activities on the condition that No Objection Certificate (NOC) was obtained from Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and other concerned departments.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unfortunately, the authority failed to<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/lda-amend-bylaws-raising-height-limit-multi-storey-buildings.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> amend its building regulations<\/a>, which allowed other authorities like Central Business District Authority (CBDA) to offer business-friendly regulations and allow construction of high-rise buildings in Gulberg.
