The census will be Pakistan\u2019s first digital census, allowing more transparency.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/islamabad-transport-system-census.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Islamabad to get public transport system based on 2017\u2019s census<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a press conference, Asad said that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/pbs-7th-housing-population-census.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"83212\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS)<\/a> would share data plans with the media soon. He also said that the central government has also taken provincial governments on board for the successful census execution to ensure that the next election is held according to the latest population numerics. He pointed out that to make the process more successful, a pilot project will be launched in June to enumerate and note shortcomings and risk management.\u00a0 The federal government will include the IT Ministry, National Telecom Corporation (NTC) and Natural Resources Training Group (NRTG) in the exercise.
