The authority handed over the possession to the Ministry of Housing to allocate them to government employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/women-property-rights-bill.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Senate Standing Committee approved Women\u2019s Property Rights Bill 2021<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the meeting, the committee suggested that the old government houses must be razed and high-rise buildings must be constructed in their place. It was also decided that there must be a mechanism for the repair and maintenance of government houses. The lawmakers also ordered the CDA Chairman Amer Ali Ahmed to discuss the matter with housing and finance ministries and share the result with the committee.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reportedly, the meeting also discussed <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/cda-development-sector-e12-i12.html\" target=\"_blank\">Sector I-12<\/a>.
