As per the details, the CDA has decided with the assistance of Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) to divert traffic on the two lanes of Zero Point to the Koral Chowk section of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/cda-work-islamabad-expressway.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Islamabad Expressway<\/a> from Koral Chowk to Zero Point. This means that during the rush hours, commuters will have access to six lanes.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reportedly, CDA Machinery Pool Organisation (MPO) is developing two merging points; one past the I-8 bridge, before Zero Point and another near Quaid-e-Azam\u2019s portrait. It was disclosed that the merging points will be constructed by the CDA while the traffic will be manned by ITP.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a CDA official (whose name was not disclosed) stated that the traffic will be shifted to either side of the road on an experimental basis for a week, keeping in view the traffic load. After the repairing of the pipelines, the water pressure and supply has increased. According to CDA Media Coordinator Asif Shah, several pipelines are being replaced to ensure that the situation remains under control during the summer.
