The said project resolves the traffic issues by developing an alternative bypass that will link Karachi \u2013 Torkham (N-5) Highway to M-2 Motorway.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As per the details, the project features 38.3-kilometre six-lane controlled access road starting from Baanth, N-5 national highway. The said road project will pass through Chakbeli Road, Adiala Road, and Chakri Road before ending at the Thalian Interchange at M-2 Motorway. Moreover, the road will comprise five interchanges, fenced right of way, underpasses, bridges, weigh bridges, and toll plazas.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reportedly, the total cost of the project will be PKR 33.7 billion, which includes PKR 6.7 billion for land acquisition and PKR 27 billion for construction costs. The project will be executed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/fwo-acquires-contract-rrr.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Frontier Works Organisation <\/a>(FWO) and the Punjab government has released PKR 4 billion for it.
