Karachi: The Karachi Development Authority (KDA) on Wednesday (March 30) launched a massive operation against illegal construction and encroachment on KDA land, news sources reported. The operation has been carried out by the Estate and Enforcement wing of KDA.\u00a0 Read: KDA to launch affordable housing schemes, development projects soon\u00a0\u00a0 Reportedly, the operation was initiated under the command of KDA Director General (DG) Syed Muhammad Ali Shah, who also asked pertinent authorities to launch a probe against personnel found to be negligent. The operation began in Korangi Town Sector 44\/A and Gulistan-e-Jauhar C\/4 Block 11 and resulted in the demolition of 28 unlawful structures. Moreover, four unlawful residences in Gulistan-e-Jauhar were demolished.
