Giving the residents of katchi abadis ownerships rights of the property they reside in is part of these efforts, he added. News sources claim that the CM has instructed the concerned departments to take immediate actions in order to implement the decision.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is worth noting that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/legislation-to-deter-land-grabbers-pm-khan.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"77926\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan had announced in June 2021<\/a> that slums and shantytowns throughout Punjab will be regularized and the residents of these abadis will be given property ownership rights.
