The meeting was attended by Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan, Secretary Environment and Forestry Abid Majeed, Secretary Communications and Works Ijaz Ansari, Secretary Tourism Aamir Tareen, and other relevant senior officials. The meeting discussed several road projects including Integrated Tourism Development Project, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/kp-pdwp-approves-uplift-projects.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rural Roads Development Project<\/a>, and Integrated Tourism Development Project.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As per the details, the meeting was notified that the work is underway on the access road to the Sheikh Badin tourist site in Dera Ismail Khan. The attendees were also informed that the financial opening of 22-kilometre Mankiyal road and 24-kilometre Thandiyani will be completed by the end of April.&nbsp; Moreover, the 34-kilometre Kalam to Mataltan and Mahodand roads have been included in the provincial road projects. It was disclosed that 65% of civil work has been completed on the Swabi-Mardan road, at the cost of PKR 4.4 billion. The attendees were informed that the project is expected to be complete by December.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the Provincial Roads Improvement Project, the construction and rehabilitation of 214-kilometre-long sections of 9 roads are near completion, at the cost of PKR 14.4 billion. The details of the roads include Haripur- Hattar Taxila Road, Sang e Mar eastern and western bypass roads, Maqsooda to Kohala road, Risalpur to Jehangira road, Shah Alam to Sardaryab road, Khairabad to Nizampur road, Aadina to Yar Hussain road, and Umerzai to Harichand road.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/unilever-pk-utilities-tourist-spots.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Unilever Pakistan to provide utilities at popular tourist sites in KP<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, the attendees were informed that 1,337-kilometre district roads will be carried out along with the constriction of 62 bridges, under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Rural Roads Development project.
