Islamabad: The Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis <\/a>& Human Resource Development has announced the auction of commercial plots located in the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) Housing Scheme, Khyaban-e-Jinnah Road-Lahore, as per an announcement published in national dailies on April 26.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The said auction will be conducted on an as-is-where-is basis and is termed an excellent opportunity for Overseas Pakistanis and the general public. It will be held at OPF Head Office in Islamabad at 2 pm (1400 hours) on May 9. The plots on auction are of various sizes and have a 60% quota reserved for non-resident Pakistanis (NRPs) and 40% for resident Pakistanis. However, NRPs can also bid against plots reserved for resident Pakistanis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As per the news advert, the interested NRPs are required to be members of OPF at the date of advertisement to take part in the bidding process. The brochures of the event can be purchased from Housing & Works Division (Estate Management Section) for a non-refundable fee of PKR 5,000 till May 7.
