Islamabad: The National Highway Authority (NHA) Board has recommended Project Concept-1 (PC-1) for the Mansehra-Muzaffarabad Link Road project for the approval of the Central Development Working Party (CDWP), news sources reported on April 28.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 26-kilometre-long project, worth PKR 44.72 billion, is part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).\u00a0 After the approval from CDWP, the project will be sent to the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC)<\/a> for final approval. The proposed project will be constructed as per the design proposed by NHA in 2013. Sardar Mohammad Yusuf, a Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) assembly member, stated at a gathering that the project would benefit the local economy by increasing tourism in the region.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
