The authority referred one of the projects to the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) for final approval.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/cdwp-approves-pkr-273-billion-kcr.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"83817\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CDWP approves PKR 273 billion for KCR<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to reports, at a meeting presided over by Deputy Chairman Planning Commission Dr Mohammad Jahanzeb Khan, the committee took up seven projects for deliberation and passed three projects after careful consideration.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The authority has approved the PKR 10.578 billion worth <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/ml-1-project-include-peshawar-torkham-section.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"69701\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Torkham-Jalalabad Road&#8217;s Second Carriageway project<\/a>, subjected to ECNEC\u2019s approval. The new two-lane two-way highways connecting Torkham and Jalalabad will be built alongside the current Torkham-Jalalabad Road. The project will link Afghanistan, Central Asian Republics (CARs), and Pakistan.
