The company will plant trees of the likes of Lignum Tree, Gul Mohar, Coconut Palm, Khajoor and Peepa.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/karachi-brt-compensation-claims.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"85222\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Karachi BRT affectees asked to submit compensation claims<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to reports, Trans-Karachi CEO Wasif Ijlal stated that the company will plant trees to alleviate the effects of concrete development and improve the city&#8217;s ecology. The proposal calls for the planting to compensate for the removal of trees along the BRT route. Likewise, the company will transfer 8,500 plants off the route to other locations. The plants will be relocated from a projected <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/project-finalized-run-200-biogas-powered-buses-karachi.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"59773\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">biogas production unit near Bhans colony<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;It is important to mention here that, as per the Sindh <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/sindh-sme-enhancement-policy.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"85024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)<\/a>, the company has cut 23,000 plants from the proposed 26 kilometres Redline route.
