According to Project Concept-1 (PC-1) the project, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/cda-land-islamabad-wildlife-board.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"86117\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">expansion work on the Islamabad Expressway<\/a> from PWD to T-Chowk would be carried out by FWO. The present two-lane road will be turned into five lanes, with the option of expanding to six lanes in the future. The government awarded the project contract to FWO under Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) Rule 42 (f).
