Karachi: Karachi Administrator Barrister Murtaza Wahab on Monday (May 30) reviewed the progress on the Karachi Neighborhood Scheme<\/a> at Boat Basin, news sources reported. The local administration is building four parks and upgrading food street in the area as part of the project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the information provided, Wahab visited the construction sites and directed the teams to hasten work on the project in order to complete it ahead of schedule. He stated that the government intends to build four parks surrounding Boat Basin, as well as properly equipped and organised food street for tourists<\/a> from all over the world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He stated that the projects will be completed by November and that funding had already been set aside to ensure a smooth operation and completion. He stated that the food street will enhance the country’s food culture. Furthermore, the new food street on Clifton is appealing to foreign visitors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
